Board Report: March 2024

Please find below a list of items that your Board of Directors accomplished on behalf of the Maple Hill neighborhood in March of 2024

  • Planned & ran the quarterly Board meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2024

  • Completed and signed the 2023-12-21 Board Meeting Minutes

  • Hosted Maple Hill’s first annual Leprechauns on the Loose & Gnomes Gone Wild Event!

  • Met with the owners of Splash to discuss the upcoming pool season

    • Worked with the security vendor to setup the pool access

  • Walked the Natural Area / Extended Drainage Basin (EDB) with a former Board member

  • Organized the committees and scheduled the first meetings for the first week of April

  • Fixed both of the little libraries

  • Confirmed tree replacement project

    • SuperTrees will being will begin work on Thursday, April 4th

    • Project includes removing 7 dead or mostly dead trees, grinding 13 stumps, pruning 17 trees, and planting 12 trees

  • Met with GreenEarth to discuss the landscaping projects for the year

  • Partnered with Fetch Poop to replace and fix the doggie waste stations

  • Discussed the bid from last year for the fencing & pilar repairs with the vendor, Mountain Streams

  • Engaged the City to understand the process of getting speed bumps installed on Thoreau, Bar Harbor, and Country Club

  • Gathered bids for the survey collection box and the electronic voting platform

  • Decorated and maintained the information in the bulletin board

  • Set up a phone number that routes to all Board Directors for homeowners to call and/or text

  • Created a brand new website

  • Revamped the Design Review / Lot Modification or Improvement process

  • Sat down with CCG to discuss realigning the workload, especially while Richelle is out on maternity leave, and potentially reworking the contract

  • Held a work session on Saturday, March 30 (agenda here)
