Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year, this pool is a huge attraction for kids and adults alike.

The Natural Area is designed for flood mitigation and water quality control. The water that flows into the 13.88 acres area is runoff from our streets. As the water flows along the trickle channels heavy metals and other pollutants drop to the bottom of the trickle channel. The cleaner water exits the quality control outlet at a reduced flow to prevent downstream flooding. This extended drainage basin (EDB) is located on Maple Hill & Sunbury (north to south) & Bar Harbor/Milton & Thoreau (east to west).

Often rated in the top-5 parks & playgrounds in Northern Colorado, this 7-acre park features an in-earthed restroom, basketball court, play area, gathering spaces, a retention pond, and a large open green field for team sports, picnics, and other community gatherings. This park is owned and maintained by the City of Fort Collins.
